The Stage:
Master The Craft Of Performance

Take Your Comedy from the Huddle to the Highlights

Ready to see what you’re truly capable of? The Stage is where our students refine their technical comedy skills. In this phase of the Artist's Ascent, we dive into longform structures, character development, and the art of "the funny." These classes are for the committed enthusiast who wants to understand the why behind the laugh and deliver consistent, high-quality comedy.

The Artist's Ascent

The pinnacle of this phase is our House Team Program. Graduates are invited to audition for our rotating roster of teams that perform at some of Vancouver’s most iconic pop-up comedy nights. When you join a House Team, you aren't just a student anymore, you are a performer representing the Instant Theatre brand across the city.
