The Story

Instant Theatre Company is a vibrant and dynamic performance hub specializing in improvisation, comedy, and live theatre. Founded by a group of passionate artists, the company was born from a desire to create a space where emerging talent could thrive and experiment with new forms of theatre. Since 1994, Instant Theatre has produced improvisational theatre performances and trained generations of improvisers through its education programs and community sponsorships. Its legacy is firmly rooted in the exceptional shows, festivals, and improvisers it has produced, becoming an integral part of the Vancouver improv scene.
