Service Description

Discover the exciting world of improvisational theatre with our “Introduction to Improvisation” workshop series for BIPOC communities! Perfect for beginners, these workshops introduce the foundations of improv to help you boost your confidence, quiet self-judgment, and reconnect with the joy of play. Led by an instructor from the BIPOC community, each session creates a supportive and inclusive space where you can grow, experiment, and connect with others. Join us and explore how improv can empower you to embrace spontaneity, strengthen your voice, and unlock your full creative potential! This class will be taught by Cari Leslie! Cari (she/her) began her improv journey 23 years ago. She was heavily involved with the Canadian Improv Games as a player, adjudicator, head referee, and national tournament referee, as well as both camper and counsellor at Improv Camp. She has excelled in “highly sought-after” professional improv institutions in Amsterdam, Vancouver, and at sea. These experiences honed her ability to adapt and connect to audiences of all sizes and demographics, and reaffirmed the importance she places on trust, transparency, and ethical leadership. Accessibility in the space: Accessibility at Little Mountain Gallery varies depending on the specific theatre space in use. Some spaces are fully wheelchair accessible, while others have limited access due to structural constraints. If you have accessibility needs, we strongly encourage you to contact us prior to booking so we can ensure the selected space meets your requirements. We are committed to making your visit as comfortable and inclusive as possible.
