Service Description

The Intro to Improvisation is here to give you a taste of what improv is all about. We will be introducing you to what tools you will need to be confident in public speaking, remove self judgement, and find the joy in play. This workshop is great for people that have never done improv before or people that need a quick refresher after not practicing in a long time. Come learn in a comfortable and safe environment that is focused on developing your improvisation. Join us and discover how improv can empower you to embrace spontaneity, connect with others, and unleash your full potential—all while having a great time! This class will be taught by Bryan Clark! Bryan (he/him), a proud Manitoban, began his improv journey on February 6, 2016. Since that transformative day, he has trained extensively across Vancouver and at renowned institutions such as The Annoyance, The Pack, UCB, Second City, iO, and BATS. Bryan is a member of the improv ensemble Embezzlement and frequently performs with Instant Theatre, as well as in other shows throughout the city. Accessibility in the space: Accessibility at Little Mountain Gallery varies depending on the specific theatre space in use.
