WHY INSTANT

Creativity is a contact sport.

Storytelling

Every scene is a story. We teach you to find the narrative inside any moment.

Community

Instant is a room full of people who want to make something together.

Performance

From class showcases to mainstage shows, there's always a stage to step on.

Human connection

The best improv is just two people paying close attention to each other.

We believe the best things happen when people trust each other enough to take a risk. Instant is where Vancouver comes to improvise, perform, and find their people. From first-time students to seasoned performers.

THE INSTANT ROOM

It's not a class.
It's a room.

The thing about improv is you can’t do it alone. Every session is a group of people choosing to trust each other, listen closely, and build something that only exists in that moment. That’s the Instant experience —on stage and off.
