The Instructors
The instructors at Instant Theatre Company are experienced, talented performers and educators who are passionate about sharing their knowledge of improvisation, acting, and comedy. With diverse backgrounds in theatre, film, and live performance, they bring a wealth of expertise to their classes and workshops. The instructors are dedicated to creating a supportive and inclusive environment where students of all skill levels can develop their confidence, creativity, and performance skills. Jullian Kolstee
Instructor
Jullian (he/him) began improvising in 2004, performing in the Canadian Improv Games for Carson Graham Secondary, where he was head coach and artistic director from 2009-2022. He has trained and performed with Instant Theatre, Blind Tiger Comedy, and Vancouver TheatreSports, as well as with companies and festivals across North America. Jullian coached UBC improv from 2011-2013, was faculty at the Canadian Improv Games Improv University in 2016 & 2017, and delivers improv workshops internationally. He received the City of North Vancouver Outstanding Supporter of Youth Award and the Capilano University 50th Anniversary Alumni Award of Excellence for his work in teaching. Jullian is also part of the Board of Directors as the Improv Theatre Director at Instant Theatre.
Sinéad Grewcock

Sinéad (she/they) is a queer filmmaker living in Vancouver, BC. Sinéad has over a decade of experience in acting, improvisation, writing, directing, and producing for film and stage, and has been awarded numerous grants for their storytelling abilities. Sinéad is on the Board of Directors at Instant Theatre as the Media Director.
Montana Rosalle

Montana (he/him), based in Vancouver, is an improviser with a background in theatre, puppetry, and storytelling. He trained in improv at two notable studios and studied under several prominent instructors. Montana has been a cast member in various shows, showcasing his versatile improvisational skills. Besides performing, he also teaches improv, sharing his extensive experience and diverse training with new students. His dynamic presence makes him a significant figure in the Vancouver improv scene. Montana is part of the Board of Directors as the Educational Director of Instant Theatre.
Delaram Hajipour
Instructor
Del (she/her) is a seasoned Canadian-Iranian improvisor based in Vancouver, BC, with over 15 years of experience in improvisational theatre. As co-president of Instant Theatre Company, she has produced numerous shows that combine humor with social and cultural commentary. Del enjoys mentoring aspiring performers through workshops, and she values the supportive community within improv. Her work continues to influence both audiences and fellow performers. Del Hajipour is the director of Bekhand, and is on the Board of Directors at Instant Theatre as the Co-President.
Jordan Wesley
Instructor
Jordan (he/him) is an improviser who has been performing and teaching in Vancouver for fifteen years. He began while studying at UBC with UBCimprov, and continued training and performing with Vancouver Theatre Sports League, Instant Theatre Company and Blind Tiger Comedy. He currently performs regularly with Vancouver’s Grad School Improv. Jordan has coached UBCimprov and CIG, as well as directing several shows a year with Grad School Improv.
Caitlin Maira Alinsod

Caitlin Maira (she/they) is a Vancouver based improviser, actor, and writer. Even though she's loved improv most of her life, watching Whose Line Is It Anyway everyday after school, she didn't begin her improv journey until she was halfway through her twenties. Since then, she dove head first into training and performing all over North America. She performs regularly in Vancouver with various improv theatre companies and ensembles, including Instant Theatre, Embezzlement, Probably Magic, The Spontaneous Shakespeare Company, QueerProv, yamjam Improv, Momentous Comedy, Tightrope Impro Theatre, and The Improv Centre. Additionally, she has taught various improv workshops in the Vancouver theatre community, has been a coach/instructor for UBCimprov and QueerProv, and co-founded yamjam Improv Society with her talented friends.
Bryan Clark

Bryan (he/him), a proud Manitoba native, began his improv journey on February 6, 2016. Since that transformative day, he has trained extensively across Vancouver and at renowned institutions such as The Annoyance, The Pack, UCB, Second City, iO, and BATS. Bryan is a member of the improv ensemble Embezzlement and frequently performs with Instant Theatre, as well as in other shows throughout the city.
Max Boateng
Instructor
Max (he/him) is a North American actor and entertainer. He trained at Toronto's Second City before joining their high school touring program Student Rule. After honing his stand-up skills and hosting live events, he transitioned to TV and film after then moved to Vancouver, where he studied at various schools. His passion for theatre and comedy brought him back to improv, where he was part of the rookie league at an improv theatre. With over 15 years of experience in the entertainment industry, Max is excited to share his knowledge with the Instant Theatre community.
